Real estate agents are expanding their use of artificial intelligence but remain unwilling to delegate home pricing to automated algorithms, according to HousingWire Agent. Findings from the 2026 Survey of Best Practices for CMAs and Listing Presentations reveal a rising demand for technology alongside a sustained need for professional market expertise and persuasive listing presentations. [1]

HousingWire Agent reported that 89.6 percent of surveyed real estate professionals believe comparative market analyses will become more relevant in the future. Industry respondents indicated that algorithm-based tools cannot fully replace human judgment when evaluating local property values. [1]

The research was conducted by Giant Steps Advisors in partnership with Lone Wolf Technologies between November 2025 and February 2026. The study gathered responses from 2,165 real estate professionals across the United States to assess current practices regarding pricing and presentations. [1]
