Posted mortgage rates declined on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, across three of nine tracked lenders, AOL, Forbes, and NerdWallet reported. U.S. News - Money reported that rates overall were unchanged ahead of the midterm elections. [1][2][3][7]
Rocket Mortgage lowered its 30-year fixed rate by 0.125 percentage points to 7.125 percent and its 15-year fixed rate by 0.125 points to 6.375 percent, according to AOL. This action marks the fifth rate cut by Rocket Mortgage in three weeks, bringing its 30-year fixed posted rate down by 0.375 points over that timeframe. [1]
Wells Fargo reduced its 15-year fixed rate by 0.125 percentage points to 6.375 percent, AOL reported. AmeriSave lowered its 30-year fixed rate by 0.115 points to 5.875 percent. AmeriSave also listed refinance pricing, including a 30-year fixed rate at 6.375 percent with a 6.91 percent annual percentage rate, and a 15-year fixed rate at 5.625 percent with a 6.521 percent annual percentage rate. [1]
The rate changes were recorded by RateZip from lender-posted rates, AOL reported. As FTMQ Real Estate reported earlier, annual percentage rates provide a clearer cross-lender comparison than posted rates alone due to varying underwriting assumptions. [1][14]
