Roughly five months after acquiring real estate franchisor NextHome, AGNT leaders stated that the transaction is a growth platform rather than a cost synergy play, HousingWire Agent and HousingWire reported. The acquisition marked the transformation of the holding company formerly known as eXp World Holdings into AGNT. Both HousingWire Agent and AD HOC NEWS reported that AGNT has expanded the NextHome network since the acquisition. [1][2][3]
Executives at both companies reported that early integration results have been positive, according to HousingWire Agent. Keith Robinson, the president of strategy at NextHome, stated that the integration exceeded expectations because key gating issues facing NextHome were resolved following the acquisition. AGNT Chief Executive Officer Leo Pareja noted that the company bought a platform it plans to actively grow, HousingWire Agent reported. [1]
Following the expansion news, AGNT stock gained 6.85 percent, AD HOC NEWS reported. [3]
